Aishang A100C Officially Launched: A New Contender in the Pure Electric Mini Car Market

On October 21, Liuzhou Wuling New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., under Guangxi Automobile Group, officially launched its new brand Aishang and unveiled its first model — the Aishang A100C. Co-developed with Henan Senyuan, the A100C enters the pure electric mini car segment with four trim options and a 3-door, 4-seat body structure.

Design and Exterior

Like most 00-class electric mini cars, the Aishang A100C adopts a cute and rounded design. The front features dual circular headlamps paired with a closed EV-style grille, while the 14-inch four-leaf clover wheels and matching round taillights create a balanced look.
Although the headlights use halogen bulbs instead of LED, they maintain a classic aesthetic.
The A100C is available in seven body colors, measuring 3285mm (L) × 1708mm (W) × 1550mm (H), with a 1980mm wheelbase.

Interior and Comfort

Inside, the Aishang A100C offers a clean and modern cabin available in green, white, and pink color schemes. The two-spoke steering wheel, electronic gear selector, and horizontal air vents create a simple yet stylish cockpit.
The front integrated seats can recline up to 165°, and the rear seats can fold 50:50, expanding cargo space to 882 liters.
A floating digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen (available on mid/high trims) support the HiCai system, smartphone connectivity, voice control, and remote functions such as climate control and vehicle location via app.

Performance and Range

Under the hood, the Aishang A100C features a front-mounted single electric motor delivering 35 kW of peak power and 83 N·m of torque, with a top speed of 101 km/h.
It uses a 17.65 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a CLTC-rated range of 220 km — sufficient for a week of daily commuting on one charge.
In addition to a 5-hour slow charge, the A100C supports fast charging, reaching 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Production and Quality Control

The Aishang A100C benefits from a digitally integrated production line with an automation rate of 90% in key processes.
Over 200 quality control checkpoints ensure full traceability from components to final assembly, guaranteeing stable production quality.

Future Plans

Aishang plans to expand rapidly, relying on its A, B, and C technology platforms to introduce sedans, SUVs, and MPVs within the next three years.
By launching a pure electric mini car as its debut model, Aishang demonstrates a strategic approach: leveraging Wuling’s mature manufacturing experience, controlling costs, and targeting a market with low brand barriers but high demand for quality, affordability, and ease of use.

Conclusion

The Aishang A100C brings fresh energy to China’s competitive electric mini car market. With its smart design, practical range, advanced production quality, and Wuling’s solid reputation, the A100C is positioned to attract urban users seeking a reliable, eco-friendly, and budget-friendly EV for everyday commuting.
